Class Curriculum
FAKANAM Green School specializes in curriculum design and has therefore designed most parts of its curriculum in combination with the American and the South African curriculum for pre-school children.
For little learners aged 2 to 3 years, the world becomes a playground of imagination, words, and growing independence. This stage is rich with social blossoming, language explosions, and new physical milestones—so the curriculum should be playful, engaging, and flexible enough to meet each child where they are. These toddlers are stretching their wings—but still need lots of nurturing. Structure gives them confidence, and play gives them joy.
Core Focus Area
- Language & Communication: Expanding vocabulary, two-word phrases, songs, simple questions.
- Gross Motor Skills: Jumping, climbing, ball play, balance beams.
- Fine Motor Skills: Simple puzzles, scribbling with purpose, scooping, lacing.
- Cognitive Growth: Cause and effect, sorting by categories, basic problem-solving.
- Social & Emotional: Cooperative play, turn-taking, naming feelings, simple rules.
- Creative Play:Dramatic role play, messy art, musical exploration.
- Environmental Studies: Exploring nature, caring for plants and animals, learning simple eco‑friendly habits like recycling and saving water.
