Our Vision
FAKANAM Green School of Excellence and Consulting is committed to creating a community that approaches the environment and biodiversity in a sustainable way. We envision building a cradle-to-career pathway through education and skills development, supporting South Africa’s sustainability goals, and empowering a new generation to reduce their ecological footprint and thrive in 21st-century careers.
Therefore, we aim to cultivate a generation of environmentally conscious citizens and institutions through education, training, consulting, and design.
Our Mission
To provide quality early childhood education and practical skills development rooted in sustainability, innovation, and community empowerment. We are dedicated to nurturing eco-conscious, confident learners equipped for lifelong growth and success in the 21st century.

Growth Path
2023
Our Beginning
Milestone:
FAKANAM was born with a vision to nurture curiosity and creativity. In October 2023, it opened its doors to just 2 joyful little pre-school learners, laying the foundation for a safe, playful, and educational environment. This year ended with 12 kids.
2024
Growing Roots
Milestone:
As our reputation for quality care and learning spread, we welcomed more families and expanded our classrooms. Our focus on hands-on learning and emotional growth began to blossom. By the end of 2024 FAKANAM had 25 pre-school kids of different age groups. We graduated 6 Grade R learners into Grade 1. We established an organic vegetable garden that feeds the whole school during the relevant seasons.
2025
Blossoming Minds
Milestone:
We’ve expanded parent partnerships, now supporting 38 children with 9 set to graduate in December 2025. New collaborations include environmental training with Tshwane University of Technology and water resource programs with WESSA, reaching from preschool to community level. To strengthen sustainability and local growth, we’ve added a poultry farm alongside our vegetable garden.

Thriving Today
Milestone:
We anticipate and look forward to strategic partners in the skills development and consulting sector. We have an outdoor educational wall on various environmental topics ready for illustrative teaching methods. We also look forward to a massive growth in our preschool sector.
